先前我們在聊表達時間副詞的時候，有提到 as soon as 的片語用法，而這樣的句型本身能夠衍生一些其他用法，因此本篇文章我們特別將「一...就...」的補充用法另外寫成一篇文章，幫助你能夠更了解 as soon as 的補充用法，讓我們一起看下去吧

G15-02【副詞子句】表達時間的副詞子句怎麼用？用法例句全解析聊到表達時間的副詞子句時，有提到as soon as這片語的用法，複習一下：

  1. as soon as 「一...就...」S+ V1, S+ V2

  2. ＝ once S+ V1, S+ V2

  3. ＝the moment/ instant/ minute (that) S+ V1, S+ V2

  4. = Immediately/ Instantly/ Directly (that) S+ V1, S+ V2

*S(主詞）可能是同一人，也可能是不同人 

E.g.: 這媽媽一聽到消息(V1)就放聲大哭(V2)。
 

  1. As soon as the mother heard the news, she burst out crying. 

  2. = Once the mother heard the news, she burst out crying. 

  3. = The moment/ instant/ minute (that) the mother heard the news, she burst out crying. 

  4. = Immediately/ Instantly/ Directly (that) the mother heard the news, she burst out crying. 

上述四排單字或片語都是當作從屬連接詞用，後面接一個句子後，整個作為副詞子句，寫完後逗點，再接主要句子．以多益考試而言，這些單字或片語裡面比較常看到as soon as, once, the moment/minute (that)這四個．

另外，還可以用5. Upon/On + V1ing, S + V2的句型改寫，變成...

  1. Upon/On hearing the news, the mother burst out crying. 

    * 提醒：如果要使用此句型的話，S需為同一人．
     

而台灣的研究所或高普考考試選擇題還有可能出現以下更複雜（或者說刁鑽？）的句構，甚至會考到倒裝句用法．

  1. S + had hardly/scarcely + pp. (V1)….when/before S + V2

  2. = Hardly/ Scarcely had S + pp. (V1)...when/before S + V2 

             ↑ 此為否定意味的字擺句首的倒裝句應用．倒裝部分即改為疑問句的結構，用淺藍底標出

  1. = S + had no sooner + pp. (V1)...than S + V2

  2. = No sooner had S + pp. (V1)...than S + V2 

              ↑ 此為否定意味的字擺句首的倒裝句應用．倒裝部分即改為疑問句的結構，用淺藍底標出

一樣的例句拿來改寫一下～

E.g.: 這媽媽一聽到消息(V1)就放聲大哭(V2)。

6. = The mother had hardly/scarcely heard the news when/before she burst out crying. 

7. = Hardly/Scarcely had the mother heard the news when/before she burst out crying. 

*提醒：有些學生會覺得中文是「一..(V1)就...(V2)」所以V1應該要寫在when/before子句的位置．這樣想滿有道理的，但...就不是唷，when/before子句是表達V2. 


8. = The mother had no sooner heard the news than she burst out crying. 

9. = No sooner had the mother heard the news than she burst out crying. 


為了熟悉這9種表達 as soon as(「一...就...」)的句型，再來一個例句練習一下唷~(建議看到中文意思後，先自己想一遍，再看答案會更有學習效果）

E.g.: 這爸爸一看到自己的小女兒就笑了．

  1. As soon as the father saw his little daughter, he smiled. 

  2. = Once the father saw his little daughter, he smiled. 

  3. = The moment/ instant/ minute (that) the father saw his little daughter, he smiled. 

  4. = Immediately/ Instantly/ Directly (that) the father saw his little daughter, he smiled. 

  5. = Upon/On seeing his little daughter, the father smiled. 

  6. = The father had hardly/scarcely seen his little daughter when/before he smiled. 

  7. = Hardly/ Scarcely had the father seen his little daughter when/before he smiled. 

  8. = The father had no sooner seen his little daughter than he smiled. 

  9. = No sooner had the father seen his little daughter than he smiled. 
     

補充：以這句話「一看到...就...」來說，還有第10種寫法，用At the sight of…開頭，即為10. At the sight of his little daughter, the father smiled. 

另外一個片語At the thought of…則是可以用在「一想到...就...」的句子裡．



回來這九種寫法，你都答對了嗎？答對了就表示對這些句型有概念，遇到單字更難的句子就比較能應付囉～

全部都熟悉的話，自然遇到這類型意思的句子不管怎麼考，都逃不出你的句型資料庫了，寫題目時自然就會多了安心感，不用擔心有意外答案出現



對了，以上九種寫法要互通，是要用在過去式的句子．如果是表達現在或未來的句子，只有前面四種寫法可用，因為後面五種寫法只會發生在過去式．

E.g.: 她只要一織完一件毛衣，就開始織另外一件

  1. As soon as she finishes knitting one sweater, she starts another.

  2. = Once she finishes knitting one sweater, she starts another. 

  3. = The moment/ instant/ minute (that) she finishes knitting one sweater, she starts another. 

  4. = Instantly/ Immediately/ Directly (that) she finishes knitting one sweater, she starts another.  

總結

  1. as soon as 「一...就...」S+ V1, S+ V2

  2. ＝ once S+ V1, S+ V2

  3. ＝the moment/ instant/ minute (that) S+ V1, S+ V2

  4. = Immediately/ Instantly/ Directly (that) S+ V1, S+ V2

  5. = Upon/On + V1ing, S + V2

  6. = S + had hardly/scarcely + pp. (V1)….when/before S + V2

  7. = Hardly/ Scarcely had S + pp. (V1)...when/before S + V2
