英文基數是什麼？序數又是什麼？三分鐘弄懂英文基數與序數！
1-2000單這範圍的單字都比較偏生活化，照字母順序背太無聊了，用主題式背法比較有趣也比較不容易忘。
故本文就開一個「英文數字基礎篇」的主題，一次說清楚英文基數(cardinal numbers)跟序數(ordinal numbers)的單字。
這樣學，一次就可以囊括好幾十個英文單字呢～算是有效率的學習法吧。
那何謂「基數」呢？就是一般的數字，例如1, 2, 3, 4, 5等。
何謂「序數」？就是表達順序的數字，例如第一、 第二、 第三等。有概念後就開始學習吧。

英文數字的0-12拼法都要死背，沒有規則可言（全用紫色標出）。13-19有個大規則，就是個位數字+ teen, 例如14 = four + teen. 但13, 15, 18算小例外(已用橘色標出)，背的時候稍微注意一下就好了。這19個單字都要發音念準，拼法背熟後再進下一個表格唷～

英文的十位數有個大規則：個位數字 ＋ty, 例如60 = six + ty. 但20, 30, 40, 50, 80算是例外（已用橘色標出），背的時候稍微注意一下就好了。這些十位數的英文單字發音念準，拼法背熟後再進下一個表格唷～

英文三位數跟四位數數字，只要背熟hundred (n) 「百」跟thousand (n) 「千」這兩個單字就可以變化出來了。其中英式英文傾向加and, 美式英文不加and。
另外補充一下，如果是千以上且00結尾的數字，美式英文也有可能只用hundred去說．例如2,500照理說應該是two thousand (and) five hundred, 但美式英文有可能說成twenty five hundred (25 x 100的意思），如果聽到有人這樣說英文數字也不要嚇到唷～

注意：表達數字時， thousand/ million/ billion/ trillion這些單位字不會加s. 十位數或個位數字前的and常被省略。
